What is Hodhod’s objective?

Hodhod as an independent, non-profit Canadian media in Persian, English and French languages available for free on the Internet. Through the Persian language, it aims at bringing together the Persian-speaking people in a friendly atmosphere and makes them discover the culture and civilization of their new country. Hodhod is an official member of “Fédération Professionnelle des Journalistes du Québec” and member of “Canadian Association of Journalists”

In Persian literature and myths, “Hodhod (Hoopoe)” is a bird as the symbol of wisdom, guidance and messenger.

What is the connection between Hodhod and Canada?

Hodhod publishes information, news articles and posts about what is happening in Canada which we consider to be useful or of interest to the Persian-speaking communities. Hodhod talks specifically about the issues and events related to Canada.
